I bought this last time. Color is a little washed out but fine for a KVM / second screen setup. Not something you will enjoy staring at all day.


I like the kickstand setup over those folding covers. Lack of screen cover may be an issue if you are carrying it out but I like the smaller footprint with the kickstand.

There are, but it really depends on what you need. For media editing, you'll want to do some research on what up look for in terms of color and contrast.

If you just want something where a game or movie won't look terrible, I have a UPERFECT monitor that I like a lot.

These 2k ones would be my pick esp for a budget portable monitor. Multiple brands, find the cheapest (check brightness rating tho)

16:10 was newfangled.... back in 2007. For some manufacturers, like Apple, you can't buy a machine that's not 16:10. It's literally the standard. It's a computer monitor, not a teevee.

16:10 was a terrible standard. Why not advocate for 5:4 while you're at it? Apple's screens are in a multitude of aspect ratios, including 10:7, 2:3, 9:11, 78:85, etc. Which of those should be the standard? I vote for 9:11, it's a pretty easy number to remember.
