This is a big 20 inch fat tire off road ebike that stands out for its smooth ride, quick assembly, and strong value at around $350. The build feels solid, the full suspension and fat tires draw praise, and the menu settings can unlock more speed, with some units reaching 28 to 31 mph. The main concerns are uneven quality control, including stuck batteries, throttle errors, hot charging bricks, scratched or dented parts, and suspension that may not be adjustable. Pedaling is awkward because the seat does not adjust and the pedals sit high, so it suits motor assisted riding more than regular biking.

  • The bike can reach around 31 mph when settings are adjusted in the menu.

  • The setup process can be quick, and front disc brake calibration can help prevent pad contact.

  • The PAS system can be tuned through programming functions to change speed behavior across assist levels.

  • The bike can feel smooth and fun to ride after assembly, with included components adding convenience.

  • The battery can get stuck and may not slide off even with the included keys.

  • The charging brick can get extremely hot, and the screen may arrive with a dented corner.

  • Throttle and suspension reliability issues can occur, including an E08 throttle error and fork stanchion fluid leaks after the first ride.

  • The listing's motor power claims can conflict, with title imagery showing 1500W while the description states 1000W.

Assembled the bike (took 20 minutes) and rode it yesterday. Need to go into the menu to get the full speed of this bike. Should unlock to 9 power modes. Now it goes a lot faster... but need to use google maps or a local radar sign to see if it's actually around 31mph.

Only downside is that my twist throttle doesn't work and the display says E08 (throttle error)... but I like the thumb push throttles better anyway, so I ordered a $10 one from Amazon and I'm hoping that fixes the issue.

The bike is BIG... definitely for a 5'8"+ rider... however the pedals are very HIGH... so awkward to pedal but I got used to it within 10 minutes.

Ride is smooth, fun, and easy. I need to adjust the assisted pedal delay (takes a few seconds to kick in and I want it instant) and a few other things.

If anyone plays with the menu and finds out more tricks or how to unlock more power... please comment!!
Is yours also grey or did you receive the black one? Tracking shows mine should arrive on Thursday. I've seen some videos on unlocking speed on other brands. Is there any label or anything on the display?

What top speed are you getting? It tops out at 23mph for me. I'm 190#.
Also, I rode for 13 miles today using level 5 to level 2. I seriously doubt the advertised 65 mile range.
Good build quality though.
Pedals are in position that makes pedaling quite awkward. Seat has no adjustment.
I'd be interested in what you other buyers are experiencing. Is there a way to get the 31mph?
Oh, and wtf is the thumbs down on a lot of the remarks on this post? Do we have a grinch or 2 out there? Smilie

The charging brick gets the hottest of any charging brick I've ever used, and I've owned like 20 electric conveyances between ebikes, eskateboards and electric scooters. Do your guys' charging bricks get worrying warm?

In response to the above: "Oh, and wtf is the thumbs down on a lot of the remarks on this post? Do we have a grinch or 2 out there?

For some reason some troll likes to get on ebike related threads and just downvote nearly everyone, it's something I've seen for a long time. Probably one of the people yelling about about the illicit power levels and such.

My bike's screen came with a dented corner, wonder how the seller will respond..

I've been testing mine out and i'm getting 31mph, frankly having trouble getting a reduced speed for levels 1-4. i've been messing with the settings/programming functions and got my PAS levels to go from 5 to 9, level 9 goes to ~30mph (I'm about 150#, but it feels it is electronically limited, not weight limited there, so you should be able to increase with settings). my issue is that in all of my PAS modes, any tiny bit of petal pressure and it seems to go full throttle electric to max for that level, the lowest for which for me is like 21mph. so basically if i'm in a PAS mode, and i'm petaling, i'm boosted up to that speed. gotta mess with settings more. overall i am actually really impressed with the build quality and just amount of stuff i'm getting for <$400. Chinese got some crazy manufacturing skills. A high quality e-bike here in the states would be 10-30x the cost. And honestly even a comparable, lower quality bike like this made here would probably still be like i dunno, $1200 or something, maybe more. Overall, as others have suggested, it definitely does feel like a little hub-motor e-motorcycle that is masquerading as an ebike, but we all knew that getting into it to a degree, and i think with some settings magic maybe i can get it to a pretty functional city / beach ebike.

**of note, just given it's speed, weight, and quirkiness with popping to max throttle, this is not something you would give a kid. at least not a kid that you wouldn't otherwise give a 250cc dirtbike with a tricky throttle to. gifting this to a kid like a bmx for use in the neighborhood without knowing they are capable and careful is a major TBI waiting to happen, imo.

I'm also curious what others are experiencing so far! i was looking online and couldn't find much. doesn't even seem to be the option to leave a review on aliexpress. i'm assuming this was cloned from some other bike so doesn't have a huge presence online, or it's in chinese somewhere.

Yes my brick was hot enough to burn you if you hold it long enough! Curious how long until these things burn out (or self-immolate...) I'll definitely be charging on concrete and a few feet from anything flammable for the forseeable future. the battery itself wasn't seeming to get too hot though, reassuringly.

bummer bout your screen, the way mind was packaged i could tell something might have been trying to bang up against it but it wasn't damaged. good luck with seller...

And yes, there is definitely a few fun police people on here clamoring about how horrible these are. To each their own. i kind of think of it like a dirt bike. yes it's dangerous, and that's why you take necessary precautions and have fun and live a little. They probably work for Giant or city counsel or something. Smilie.

I got the black one and have had similar experience to you so far. also need to mess with the PAS delay. i would like to reduce speeds of lower power levels if possible. seems level 1 of 9 is nothing and 2 is like 21mph with a tough of the petal...gotta mess with it more. also curious if speedo is legit. US sportbikes are notorious for showing 10-20% faster than real life on the speedometer. i'll post later what i find. let me know if you dial in your Petal Assist! I noticed there is a usb port on the display panel...so i'm sure more could be hacked, but you might have to tap Claude for help with chinese programming... Crazy that we are in an era where AI's are almost smart enough to rewrite your bike's firmware....

You can increase the speed by holding the up and down arrows at the same time. Then use the middle button to cycle through until you see P08. That setting allows you to increase or decrease the top speed. I was able to get mine increased from 22MPH to 28MPH. When I was going 28MPH, google maps showed between 25-26MPH.

Yeah, I was able to get my top speed also, but while keeping that top speed, I couldn't keep level two from juicing up to like 20 miles an hour. Made it difficult to use the pedal assist without just taking over for like 5 seconds every time you try to pedal. It would be nice if level two were like I don't know, 5 mph, level three really like 10 mph, etc etc, and still have level 9 B 30 mph or whatever it's real life equivalent is. I might try to mess with the pas sensitivity setting next. Let me know if anyone figures out how to stabilize the slower speeds while still keeping top speed while on level 9

So I received this. Top speed 21 mph. Also some nuts and bolts missing and a scratched screen. It's a hassle to return. But I might have to

SD erased my entire response when I posted. So annoying.

Paraphrased reply:
  1. My top speed is 28mpg (tracked by phone) with speed set to 100 on menu and I weigh 160lbs
  2. My throttle is broken (E08 on display) and a new throttle didn't help... so it's electrical.
  3. Their customer service is poor so far. No response to my issue except for "they'll ask an expert" and that was a week ago.
  4. I received the gray color which looks decent
  5. Suspension is already leaking fluid on the fork stanchions after first ride
  6. Suspension has fake knobs for aesthetics... but coil shocks and fork are NOT adjustable.
  7. Bike grips smell like toxic plastic on my hands (I'm going to throw MTB grips on there)

You need to adjust a few menu sections to unlock the speed. Mine came with 21mpg max also and is now 28mph.
