This is a big 20 inch fat tire off road ebike that stands out for its smooth ride, quick assembly, and strong value at around $350. The build feels solid, the full suspension and fat tires draw praise, and the menu settings can unlock more speed, with some units reaching 28 to 31 mph. The main concerns are uneven quality control, including stuck batteries, throttle errors, hot charging bricks, scratched or dented parts, and suspension that may not be adjustable. Pedaling is awkward because the seat does not adjust and the pedals sit high, so it suits motor assisted riding more than regular biking.

Does the battery have any sort of certification? I'm scared of accidental fire.
According to the 3rd or 4th photo, "Upgraded superior long range battery 48V 15AH [...] UL2849 Certified." Take this with a huge grain of salt, though; we don't know if that's legitimate, what grade of cells they're using, etc. See Adam Savage's Tested: "The Surprising Flaws in 18650 Lithium-Ion Batteries" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y23nfAOiXQ

"Off road ebike $355" what could possibly go wrong? I'm intrigued for street use, but I wouldn't risk my life on an actual trail with this.

Expect a more realistic speed of 28mph.

I don't know anything about these but is it expected that product title and imagery say 1500W but the description in multiple places says 1000w? That's a pretty substantial difference, no?
Peak 1500.

Correct... 1000w constant and 1500w peak. Probably more like 28mph realistically but that's still a great deal for $350. Plus these are illegal in California, so if it gets impounded I'm only losing $350. Lol.

Hmm, this bike is illegal in California:
- 750W is the maximum motor power
- 20 mph is the assist cutoff for Class 1 and Class 2
- 28 mph is the assist cutoff for Class 3

Nothing with a hub motor like this is going to be happy with hills, or you know, mountains.
