You should be able to run Gemma 4 26b a4b QAT, Gemma 4 12 or Qwen3.5 9b directly on it. Qwen 27b will probably run slowly at Q3. I'd just get something else if wanting a real gpu rather than going occulink unless you have some good reason for having separated components.
Mainly just that I already have the enclosure and a spare 4070. And if I'm not currently using it for that kind of work I can disconnect the enclosure and it'll take up much less space and power than if I built a tower around that card. But that maybe leaves me with a setup that doesn't do anything especially well.

Decent speed lpddr5x and enough ram to allocate to gpu. Brilliant amount of power for the price if you have an nvme lying around for the OS.

Picked one up to run SteamOS/Bazzite on.

ali is the problem - service went downhill a lot
I never had issues but I don't use them that often. I'd use a CC that has a good charge-back like Amex (likely to side with you). Also good idea to make a video of you opening the box from shipping, showing the label and bar codes etc if you open it and it's broken, missing, fake, wrong etc etc. I've been doing this even for AMZ if the product is over $100. Too many people lie.

Who cares? Win 11 is trash and only getting worse. You can get a free Win 11 key by just installing and registering OR use Linux OR if you really want M$ trash on your PC look up LTSC version of Win 11, don't need to register and it's legal.

based on today's market... many of these systems havd had their RM stripped and sold. Point is... there is a very good chance that the motherboard is already registerd with a copy of Windows.

I would not buy a mini PC unless it had a 780m GPU. So a 8745HS, 255, 7840HS, etc...
Why? What's wrong with the gpu in this one?

Thanks. I have a couple of NVMe drives laying around so I'll put one to a good use on this.

Slick deal, imo. Bought two. SBUS35 worked for the same discount off the second. Will use them as remote machines at work. 24 GB is perfect for them & the CPU is decent and the iGPU (680M) is adequate for the office productivity.
