If you're going to spend this much, try the HD 490 Pro. Very similar "smoothness" but with more clarity and bass.

Don't forget that the owners of Sennheiser consumer audio have declared it a "discontinued operation".

Hopefully real audio lovers will buy it, and not some Private Equity firm that will move all production to China, and then start selling Sennheiser bluetooth speakers & LED lights.
