Note that this is a thermal printer, so it only creates shapes in black and if the sticker gets placed in a warm area, the entire sheet will be black.
Not worth it to me.

Yeah they're best thought of as a fancier label maker basically.

Unless this unit requires proprietary paper, there are a lot of paper options available that will hold up to the environment. Consider BOPP labels, which do not have the two major toxins found in other paper.

Doesn't work for me, says only one offer can be applied at once. Disappointing.

Someone pointed out that these mini pre-cut label makers use an RFID chip that makes them proprietary. I had no idea. You have to buy "their" labels, generic won't work. I bought a pre-cut label machine for $9 that falls into that category, but their proprietary labels aren't available anywhere! Fortunately, it did come with a 200 label roll, plenty for my spice labels, but it's pretty nuts that it may become useless when I run out of labels. This Orgsta here uses generic labels, so it probably is a better choice long term. You'll always be able to find labels for it.

BPA -free paper still loaded with chemicals. I avoid these altogether for my kids.

What's everyone's favorite app or program to use with this printer? Thanks.

Shilled so hard. Junk e-waste loaded with fake reviews and most people will use it a few times and pitch it. Thermal stickers is just silly.

They are bad as stickers since the thermal part scuffs easily, which ruins the print.

As a rule....not all thermal paper is that sensitive. But this type paper likely is. There are other thermal printers that can print labels that can survive directly sunlight, hot cars, etc. Also thermal has no ink to run / bleed / transfer etc so there are inherent benefits to the technology as well. Highly use case dependent.

FWIW, this looks like a toy and reminds me a little bit of the printer (and paper style) for the Gameboy Printer which you could glance at wrong and the paper would turn black Wink

I bought something similar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D99DMDS3?th=1 during Prime Days for about the same cost as this one. It has less DPI, but it detects what size label is loaded and automatically centers it, and it's plenty sharp for labels. This one just uses a continuous roll. I prefer precut labels myself. Here's another for $11.69 that detects labels loaded https://www.amazon.com/Rongta-Blu...lectronics
The problem with auto-detection models is that you're locked into proprietary paper/labels. It knows the size of your labels because of an RFID tag on the cartridge. Generally speaking, such printers don't function if it doesn't detect the tag so you can't use generic paper. There are all kinds of hacks to trick the printer but most aren't successful. For example, you generally can't just move the tag onto a generic roll because each tag has a unique ID. The ID is tied to an online database that counts down with each label printed. Once it reaches 0, the ID is retired and no longer usable for future printing m

This is the printer to get if print quality matters to you. It's one of the few handheld thermal printers that outputs 300dpi. That results in more details, better grayscale and sharper images/fonts. Most models only output 206dpi. The trade-off is that you only get the printer. Lesser models usually come with several rolls of labels and paper.
