Yup, I have one and it allows me to run my AC warmer when I sleep. I put it on my TV stand horizontally to blow air over my bed. It works well for that but is somewhat noisy if I'm trying to listen to my TV at low volume.

You should not sleep with direct air pointed at your body.

It will try to kill you the minute you fall asleep.

No, it will dry out your body, including the inside of your mouth. In extreme cases, you'll feel hungover due to dehydration.

Yes, bought and returned. Vornado is restructuring the company introducing new models with poor air flow. Your best bet is to go with a circular old school model with a DC motor to cut noise but give you stronger airflow. If you want some of their highest airflow then go for their 80x box fan (not as aesthetically pleasing but pushes tons of air) either regular motor at Costco for around $50-65 depending in warehouse or online or on Amazon which has the brushless DC motor which is quieter and more adjustments for speed. Either way you shouldnt really worry as if in anything happens in five years, you call Vornado, send them a picture of the serial number and the cord which you cut. In 2-3 business days you will receive a new/refurb identical fan with a reset of 5 new years of warranty. My pick right now is the box fan with the DC motor, great air flow, quiet, and most importantly one of the easiest fans to clean in their entire product lineup just twist, clean, and twist the grill back. Their other models require unscrewing 3-4 small screws/clips to get into the fan, not hard but not an ideal situation. Hope you find a good Vornado before someone comes in this thread saying they are shit and to go to Walmart and buy a $10 Lasko fan that does the same thing
