yeah but how's the battery life on these things? Esp compared to like....a macbook air. What can I expect out of the acer, 4-5hrs tops doing generic web surfing and spreadsheet work?

Acer meh. I don't like how they always cut corners on simple things like, plastic hinges that always break. I just stick to business class laptops from HP Dell or Lenovo and call it a day

I like Acer's ips monitors a lot, but yeah the stupid boring business laptops just keep on. I've had some that suck but my last like three dells have all been more than adequate.

MacBook Air ($1000) acer whatever the fark ($350) for everything else, there's MasterCard.
