Yo! Cradle is good till the end whereas Stormlight books 4 and 5 went down the hill.

Great books series that gets better as it goes along. Book one has some parts where I didn't like one of the main characters (who is supposed to be clever) but the character gets much better as the series progresses.

It has taken me about 200 pages of this book to become interested. It's slow... Some books grab you from the beginning and hold your attention. His world building is a little tedious. If you have trouble getting involved in a multi-story plot with extensive descriptions of the world then maybe skip it, but I am about halfway through this book and I see a lot of potential. I'd say it's definitely worth $3, but won't be for everyone. I will say it is refreshing for it be clean, minus the violence (which should be expected).
