I had this cooler and it looks cool and all but it didn't hold ice well or and took up too much space in my car. I got the ninja with the frostvault and that one is far superior!!! Ice holds really good and the functionality is 100% what i was looking for.

I have the ninja as well. Performed awesome 2 weeks of camping. Just wished I had gotten the bigger Ninja with wheels.

One reason is that it's dark in color, and thus gets hotter in the sun. Coolers should pretty much just be white.

I love the marketing pictures of the frost vault. Do people actually store unwrapped sandwiches and fruit in the frost vault?

Too bad the frost vault is in all their products. I don't really care about that feature. I would prefer a removable shelf or something for the items I don't want sitting in ice. The Frost vault seems like a waste of space.
