- hole is already cut in house, and unit is installed on wall already
- unit is already mounted on concrete pad or mounted to house with bracket
- 12 gauge wire is already ran from box to location of split (but not hooked up to box or unit yet)
Im just trying to keep costs down, and use HVAC/Electrician where I dont feel comfortable. I can do all the grunt work, but charging the lines and some of the electrical I'd rather pay a pro.
One company said they either do the whole thing or nothing.....
You almost have everything done. All you need is connect electric wire to disconnect power box. In the breaker panel home electric box, you find the breaker for that AC DISCONNECT BOX AND TURN IT OFF. Then, connect outdoor unit electric wire to the AC disconnect box. Make sure that AC disconnect box is no power by using "Non Contact Voltage Tester Pen".
I show you in picture for better understanding. Connect electric wire to AC DISCONNECT BOX like this picture: https://ibb.co/v6RbR8NF
Then connect to electric wire to OUTDOOR UNIT like this picture: https://ibb.co/g52phyW
After that, get the VACUUM PUMP connect with outdoor unit to vacuum the copper line.
Your mini split is 240V version right?
