I don't think those exist, and certainly not in Ni-Cad or Ni-MH.

To the knowledgeable SDers, Is this a good deal for Ni-MH/1.2V?

Research suggests stay ~2kmA for battery longevity, these are probably nowhere near 2.8k, and stay eneloop

But those are not just a rechargeable battery; they have circuitry that converts the Li-ion voltage down to 1.5V. My issue with them is they provide a constant 1.5V, which means the device you have them in does not know what the charge level of the batteries are.

You think with the updated circuitry it would at least start to taper off when almost dead

I wish they built them that way, but that would be more complicated and probably cost a little more (in R&D at least). A lot of them actually advertise the constant voltage as "feature"...

These are aqueous rechargeable battery. Voltage is 1.2V due to water voltage window. If you go with lithium or similar you get 3.7 nominal voltage. I am not sure there is 1.5V battery chemistry.

If you read above, there are many 1.5v lithium rechargeables available. Some even come witha charger. They have a buck converter which provides a steady 1.5v until the cell is completely drained. From personal experience, they last a lot longer than alkalines on a single charge.

agreed on what they are, and yes, they work at 1.5volts until they don't....lol

I have three different types of AA rechargeable , including the Eneloops, and these last the longest. And are my favorite.

Eneloop or die. I have 25 plus batteries some over 12 years old. Not one failed.
