Edge-Lit vs. True Mini LED

How it works: Instead of thousands of dimming zones placed directly behind the panel (Full Array Local Dimming), the QN70F uses edge lighting combined with a Quantum Matrix Slim design.
The drawback: Because it is edge-lit, it features a much lower number of vertical dimming zones (roughly 18 zones), which can lead to blooming in dark scenes compared to higher-tier models.
The benefit: This configuration allows for an incredibly slim profile and very respectable brightness.
