This Skytech Shadow 5 is a 1080p gaming prebuilt built around an AMD 7 9700X and RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, with the listed target being smooth 60 plus FPS at high or ultra settings. The parts list includes 1TB NVMe storage, 16GB DDR5 6000 memory, and an I O panel with two USB ports and one Type C port. The main knocks are the price, the Wi Fi 5 level connectivity, and the feeling that the included motherboard adds little value. Long term reliability gets some support from older Skytech systems still running well, though warranty timing concerns are also raised.
Households with a wired connection available, because Ethernet avoids the Wi‑Fi limitations and makes the included wireless features less important.
Homes that depend on wireless gaming across many connected devices, because the included Wi‑Fi 5 can feel slow and less reliable than newer wireless standards.
Several comments peg the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB alone at about $530 and note that the motherboard is effectively a low-cost part in the total. That makes the $1499.99 asking price feel high compared with recent Skytech builds and 2025 part pricing.
It appears to ship with Wi‑Fi 5, not Wi‑Fi 7. That matters if you need lower latency or better reliability on a crowded network, especially when Ethernet is not an option.
Some systems have reportedly run well for 6+ years, including one that stayed solid after a GPU swap and another recent prebuilt still running well. A separate concern is that some reviewers say units failed just after the 1-year warranty period, so checking the machine thoroughly on arrival is important.
The listed target is 1080p at 60+ FPS on high or ultra settings. 1440p with the settings cranked up can tank performance on demanding games, so this build is better suited to 1080p.
Wifi 5, what is this 2015? Total of 3 USB ports... Maximum resolution, only 1080p... Most have a 1440p gaming monitor these days...
If you wanted to run modern titles at 1440p with the eye candy turned on, you wouldn't be shopping for a 5060 Ti in the first place.
The description says: "...Ultra settings, detailed 1080p Full HD resolution, and smooth 60+ FPS gameplay"
That's what the description says and THAT is the correct target performance for the 5060 Ti: 1080p at 60fps with high/ultra settings. 1400p would tank that performance with the settings cranked to high/ultra on demanding titles.

I get 1000 MB/s Wi-Fi speeds on my plan. Would prefer WiFi 7. Have WiFi 6 on my gaming laptop and Steam downloads get painfully slow sometimes. Wi-Fi 7 has lower latency and better reliability especially when there's so many family devices connected to my network.
This shows how Skytech cheaps out on the components. Has anyone had a positive experience with this company?
Your downloads from Steam are NOT Wi-Fi 6 limited. There's this HUGE thing between you and the server hosting the file(s) called 'The Internet'. Wi-Fi 7 won't magically make your downloads faster.

Hey, I didn't say that either.
I am on wifi-6 but my poor ass internet is just 300Mbs. I don't really need more so far. I don't understand how people really need Gbit at all or have a need for Wifi 6/7 at home unless it's for the range (that I can understand) but most of the time your speed is throttled by the service provider. Even if multiple people are starting a 4K stream, it's ~24Mbs/s burst each stream.
4 people = 100Mbs/s. Gosh what are you people doing on the internet that requires Gbit-E!??

I meant those who previously commented to me.
Large downloads mean less time completing them.
I think you confused upload speeds with download speeds. I get 1 Gb/s download speeds but slow upload speeds of 20-45 MB/s. I am guessing streaming relies on upload speeds.

Buddy you are tech illiterate. You're reading those Amazon specs like they're the gospel without using common sense that you get from knowing anything about PCs.
Skytech is advertising the PC as a 1080p gaming machine because it's only a 5060 Ti. No modern card is limited to such a paltry resolution from an actual limitation placed on the card, the bandwidth of HDMI far surpasses that. An RTX 3070 can do 4k 240hz at 10-bit color with Display Screen Compression.
Of course there are more than 3 USB ports. You see 3 in the photo on the front and by common sense knowing that there are more IO ports in the back and no consumer motherboard lacks rear IO for USB, you should know that there are more included.
It's fine if you don't know anything about PCs...

I admire how you're really double, even tripling down, here on your stance with all of this but you're still very tech illiterate. Why are you being so thick headed? We are ultimately trying to help you but you're just being foolish and fighting back.

Homes that depend on wireless gaming across many connected devices, because the included Wi‑Fi 5 can feel slow and less reliable than newer wireless standards.
Shoppers expecting long warranty coverage to protect them from early failure, because units can break just after the one-year warranty period.
