Bought a similar 2TB Sandisk three years ago (for $100) and it's held up well. Extremely fast even after writing data for 20-30 minutes straight and warming up.
Edit: Others say they've had failures and a quick search online seems to bear this out for at least some models. So, even though my old one has worked out fine, I probably wouldn't buy this one for any data I care about.
I had 3 of the exact same one and all 3 died. I think there's a known defect in them. Costco was awesome about returning and getting a new one. After 3rd one I said refund only.
