I have 2 of these, same lid and straw as the insulated bottles. If you need replacements for lids or parts, this is a good deal. Also if the water temp isn't important, this is obviously around half the price of the insulated bottles with the same functionality.

These used to be $15 every day, but they recently raised the price on these.

multiple water bottles end up taking up more space while this provides more water than a single bottle, it's easier to reuse/clean than a standard water bottle, and it comes with a straw. Easier to add ice too

Looks like the deal is dead now. I was in for a replacement cap, my other one sheared off the handle that is held by a very small plastic nub. Less than 2 months use, hope it was a fluke.

Makes it better for many: you can actually fill it and then put it in the fridge to cool. Insulated version can't cool what's inside.
