This Milwaukee 25 foot compact tape measure stands out for its sturdy feel, long standout, and handy finger brake groove, with the fractional scale adding a practical touch for quick measurements. The compact size is meant to fit easily in a tool bag or pocket, though the tape is repeatedly described as heavy and not especially compact. The blade is printed on one side only, and the tape can twist or bend when extended, especially past about 4 to 5 feet. A solid option if those tradeoffs do not matter.

It's not compact by any means and it's quite heavy. I've been using hyper tough tape measures from Walmart which are lighter and have been very durable so far.
