I ordered these and they are really nice for the price. They are not dishwasher safe but I suspect I will do it anyway so we shall see.

These come in the larger set with a wood block, and they have worked well for 10y+ including hundreds of runs through the dishwasher. I can't guarantee the newest manufacturing doesn't have a lot of stainless steel inclusions (spots to rust in the dishwasher), but spots on mine have always been small enough to not bother extra cleaning. Dishwashing will dull very sharp knives faster, but these are serrated so that's probably not a concern.
