I'm the opposite. I had case fans with leds that couldn't be turned off so I literally cut the wires to the leds.

Not surprised. A lot of case don't support 140mm fans or only need 2. 120mm are more common.

I hadn't bought fans in a decade. I've used the stock fans on my Antec900 since the case's release. Decided to try something a little quieter, accidentally bought these, pay attention its 140mm NOT 120mm fans. Back in the day we mostly used 120mm.

These fans get LOUD at max RPM. At max RPM they move a ton of air though, unnecessary for most average builds. Set your fan curves in the BIOS after installing
