I have this smoker, it's awesome. Don't listen to the elitists about pellet smokers, if you don't have one -get one. Makes great jerky, smoked burgers, smoked meatloaf, and ribs.

Replaced my 2010 traeger big Tex.

I purchased this nearly a month ago at $499 sale price. I think it's definitely worth it esp at this current sale price, but not at the MSRP.

My main frustration with it is the lack of accurate temperature readings by the thermometer. Otherwise, it's my first smoker, and we've been using it a lot the first month that we're already on our second 40lb bag of pellets.
