Is it better to spend a little more and get a variable speed grinder
If you just need to do things like rough metal cut off type work, probably okay with a single speed. If you plan to use it to sharpen or gouge wood, anything with precision work or softer material, variable speed is a good idea. My 0.02
Picked it up today, the worst smelling tool ive ever bought in my life. Whatever oil they packed it in, or something is offgassing and smells like straight vomit. Also its not even made in china anymore its made in india for some reason.
