With that promo code it's actually a pretty good deal. You lose maybe 5% off the performance of a 7800 X3D which won't be too noticeable unless you have a very high-end GPU .

if have buy motherboard the 7800X3D been $299 add-on for last 6 months with any AM5 motherboard from MSI Store so $19 more.
Have a 2070 Super and Zen 5 3600, love it because I ONLY care about 1440 gaming and 99% of games I play are older, all previous to 2023Love to tinker and LOVE new builds, I am due, grab a 5070 and 5800X3D, stay on AM4Or wait for a 5070 Super due to pricing supposedly being same as 5070, and get a 7800X3D and just wait for the build when prices come down a bit?
I don't think we are getting supers. 5800x3d not worth it at 350.
As for AM4 parts, I need to find a decent DD4 compatible so I was looking at 5800X3D but that's $280 after discount, way too expensive. have 2x16 and 2x8 DDR4 to deploy somewhere. MicroCenter AM4 5600X bundle which is just $250 - it does come with an extra 16GB DDR4 but that CPU seems pretty slow and don't want to give that to people lol.
Just seems like a bad dead after I scored the AM5 MC Bundle 7500X3D+Mobo for $199. (then it went to $250!.
Looking around DDR4 further. I might have to get an Intel CPU because I see some motherboard at $80 now but not sure if I wanna get a 14th gen CPU.
7700X3D for $280 vs. 7500X3D+Mobo for $200. I just can't do this deal either.
Cores & Threads: 7700X3D has 8C/16T, while 7500X3D has 6C/12T.Geekbench
