Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank BabyBubba

I prepare these in the air fryer. Season 4-5 ribs with Tony's Creole seasoning, black pepper, garlic powder, and barbecue sauce. Wrap with foil and cook for 2 hours at 225 degrees. Makes a good gravy to serve over rice.

With beef prices so high, gotta save a dollar where we can. My local Walmart has tasty rotisserie chickens for $6, which is another relatively cheap protein source. I pick up 4 at a time, cut them in half, and freeze each half in quart ziplocks for a ready-to-go meat entree anytime.

Costco has the biggest and cheapest rotisserie chickens going. $4.99.

However, I do like the dollar corndog at Walmart Marketplace. Not as good as the Costco hotdogs, but not bad for a quick snack while waiting in line.

I'm stuck here with no Costco or Sam's nearby, so I have to make the best of things. My once a month grocery run to Walmart is so quick and easy since I started doing curbside pickup. No lines, no receipt checks, no wandering around looking for this or that.

Make sure you verify the weight, Walmart is notorious for overstating the weight on their meat, numerous videos people showing 5 pounds of meat is only 3 to 3.5 pounds.

And what does Walmart say? It comes in pre-labeled so not our problem.

Cooking for one at every meal can be a bit of a drag, so I keep some prepared food around. Pre-cooked chicken is pretty versatile and reasonably healthy, and stores well.

You're right; I do try to get the best deal on everything from coffee to tires. Not always possible, but worth the effort. And I try to share the deals within this community, so that others benefit as well.

I heard a guy choked on a rib once. Better not buy these; they're obviously evil.

My local super-Walmart sells prior-day rotisserie chickens for $3.97 each, over in the deli/cooler section. Those are an even better deal, but you have to get there in the morning to score!
