Note because I didn't know this when I bought it: the NS2 version is completely separate. There's no upgrade pack, and if you ever get that version later, your save data will not transfer.
That said, it plays fine and looks fine on NS2. Noticeably low-res on a 4K TV, but at least the full game is on the cart.

Everything you said is accurate but if you do have an NS2 it's still better skipping this. The NS2 version has much higher resolution and was recently on sale for the same price.
