It's for that reason why I would prefer this over a truck bed tent (or any tent in general). I did a few days in a truck bed tent recently. Setting it up and breaking it down every day and night (in the dark) was way more of a hassle than it's worth.

Thought about getting this RTT last time it was on sale for about this much, but someone pointed out that without a rainfly it was just begging to collect a bunch of water in and around the base.

I've owned a nearly identical tent and even when it was free I gave it back. Super PITA..... I've spent a few hundred nights in RTT and I have owned never every style. You want a tent that can be closed with your bedding inside. Clam shell style is the fastest to deploy and put away, not even a minuet if it can hold your bedding. Full popup is nice especially for two people Wink but takes a few minutes longer to take down.
