I have one of these. Making stuffed burgers is the biggest game changer to my burger game. The pictures don't show the whole thing, as it splits apart more. There's a groove maker for the stuffing part if you twist off the "solid" bottom piece of the handle. The inside of the handle has a part for making sliders, it comes out as it would be impossible to use while in the handle.
We routinely try new stuffing combos as a family, we even have some charts based on what we like or didn't like.
The base is meant to be screwed down to some surface, as it has mounting holes. I don't use it like that because the bottom plate is removable and makes taking the burgers out easy. Oil it up before use for easy removal.
