I have been eyeing this backpack and I would recommend for how light it is and how comfortable it is. I ended up going with another backpack but I recommend this one as well.

It looks like a really good one bag travel. Too bad the sale price is only for the light gray color.
One negative I see is it's pretty heavy pack at over 3lbs before you put anything in it.

Personal items on US item airlines are limited 17" x 10" x 9" to 18" x 14" x 8" - EG check with the airline, for example United is 17" x 10" x 9" while American is 18" x 14" x 8" Given this bag is listed with dimensions of standard 21 x 13 x 9 (but can extend to 21 x 13 x 11). This is closer to a carry on bag. Definitely won't pass on a European budget airline as a personal item, you may be able to get away with it for a while in the US but it is larger than a personal item and eventually you may be charged a fee.

This bag looks awesome however our Eagle Creek backpacks from 2015 which are now discontinued are still in perfect condition and we travel abroad each year for 6-7 weeks so it gets a lot of use. I had one packing cube rip and they sent me a new one. Great warranties on their products highly recommend
