I have the Ryzen 7 version and 4k is flawless. I can't imagine the Ryzen 5 struggling.

I'm looking around for a PC in this price range for my parents to just do basic things like web surfing, email, facebook etc. Is this a good option? I'm unfamiliar with these mini PC brands. Or can I get a better config by not going with the mini PC form factor? Any recommendations are appreciated! Thank you.

This should be great for their needs. Not a gaming computer but good for internet stuff. Storage might be a bit small if they download lots of pictures or videos though.

Are the 2 memory slots empty and in addition to the 16gb ram or you have to replace the 16gb to expand the memory?

Do you think the win 11 pro is a legitimate license or some gray market key they installed on this?

I am a fan of this brand, but went with the 5800U for the higher benchmark speed, more than double of this one. Runs really, really well and can run it 24x7 and only uses like 5-10watts per hour. Has been going for 2+ years thus far. I did experience some glitching initially when scrolling, but after reinstalling windows, the issue went away. Decent name brand hardware, ssd and ram installed in mine as well. Nothing noteable, but all brands I heard of, being a techy guy! Its not a gaming pc and graphics bogs down, but for sipping power and always on use, its excellent!
