i got these at costco a few years ago as i hate cleaning up after bacon/chicken wings. it really impeded the flow of air under the grates (to zero). and it often would float up and hit the heating element, sometimes burning/charring the paper. returned it.

Coupon wouldn't clip. Even in my cart it told me to clip it to save 30% but it wouldn't work. A few years ago Amazon started running a scam where you clip a coupon, it showed in your cart that you clipped it, but it wouldn't be applied to the order. You had to go back and forth and refresh a few times before it got applied.

make sure the parchment paper is weighed down by food, or that you want to meet a hot firefighter 🧑 🚒

Yeah these liners are useless if you are using the crisping grate. If your grate is removable you could try just putting down a flat paper liner underneath the insert to catch most of the drippings. But the insert itself is annoying to clean with all the holes

There are enough holes in the liner that it should not be an issue. I've been using them for years and have been very happy with them, as my wife hates cleaning that basket. Now we just throw the liner away.

The only important thing to remember is to make sure you turn the fryer off completely before you put the basket back in or the fan will come on and eat the liner.

These have holes in them, so you're still going to have to clean the unit. What exactly is the purpose of these then? Ones I've had in the past were solid and you can just throw the entire thing out and the unit is still clean. Also, it had walls and this is just the size of the plate on the bottom, so it'll still spill over. Maybe if your grate is starting to rust, but other than that I can't see the usefullness of these.

Yeah at a glance it seems they would greatly impede airflow which is, well, critical for an air fryer to work as designed.
