Seems like a great deal. Pulled the trigger. Was $115 with tax. You don't see the discounted price till you get to the final "place order" screen. Thought about the cheaper versions but this has way more power (140 Watts vs 50 or 80 for the lower Boom 2 models), and it has dual woofers and tweeters. I wanted big backyard sound for my pool. Fully dust/sand proof (the "6" in IP68) and fully submersible (the "8") are also nice upgrades.

Well timed. 😂 I just yesterday said I should probably replace my old little Bluetooth speaker that I've been using for like 15 years. Hearing more and more modern ones out and about they've got a lot more punch!

100% worth the the extra money. The pro model is far larger and far more powerful than the non pro. It's over double the power 80w vs 140w and it has a ip68 water and dust proofing rating while the non pro only has ipx7. I own one and it has been awesome for outdoor gatherings.
