This sorta seems like a no-brainer for those with a Walmart+ subscription. I just bought one.
Yeah I got 3 of them to distribute in handy and strategic locations throughout my home; thank you. Today has been great if you are a Walmart+ member for sure; the deals have been remarkable IMO.

Good luck replacing that blade. Sadly, these will all end up in a landfill eventually.
Yeah even if someone doesn't care about that you just have to look at the cost of standard utility knife blades to know in the long run the cost is way less. I don't know about the magnet but there are folding ones going for $5 and it's worth at least two of these in terms of how long it'll stay sharp for if you figure on the replacement blade being reversible, after that we're looking at something in the neighborhood of $5 for 50 blades.
Okay I overlooked that it's a ceramic blade, but consider for example the Workpro button lock two pack that comes with 10 blades. 12 blades, reversible so 24. I'd expect that to last with the metal construction whereas this is a simple plastic shell.

Why would you replace the blade? It doesn't wear out. Maybe if you broke the blade?
It just takes longer to wear out, that's not the same as never wearing out. But once it does there's a question of finding the blades and whether it's cost effective. (seeing $20-40 for 3) Westcott designates the blade replacement as model 00648, looking at the image there's also a notch on the blade/cutting edge side on one end, I don't see that on the image of the replacement blade though that might just go over it. But speaking of plastic tabs since there's apparently nothing else like a screw holding the housing together you might have the tab break off since it apparently just snaps together, it's obviously designed to be disposable.
One can tout the safety feature like rounded tip but the most basic thing is forcing a cut once it's gotten dull. If it takes longer to dull it is more likely to go unnoticed because it's gradual especially if it's believed that's the same as never. With this design you're also limited to a pinch grip instead of a full handle where you're less likely to slip. I don't imagine people who work in a warehouse needing to cut a lot of boxes go for something like this.
Given that price it's no doubt a good choice in some situations where you're not going to have it wear out for a really long time because of the number of boxes you need to cut, but with so many people getting used to having stuff delivered today post Covid I don't see it for the most part. The fact that people don't want to think that much about it pre purchase probably just translates to how likely they are to toss it once the blade is worn. Just resort to up and down votes to validate or invalidate instead of qualifying for the situation.
