I bought one in December 2024, after my Ryobi (which was never good) wore out, and it was like upgrading to the proverbial Cadillac. Incredible power, and natural straight cuts. Made me feel like I was a professional carpenter instead of a hobbiest.

I've been eyeing the magnesium model for a while and glad I didn't just recently with the aluminum model. I remember the magnesium model was $179 within the past week.
Update: I just noticed on Amazon that this saw is available for S&S for the same price. People say this unit will out live us, why would this be on S&S?
