You really want a minimum of 500mg EPA per serving. NOW Ultra has this, but not regular. Also only has 120mg dha which is low.

Great price and NOW consistently tests very good in third part testing, but this is in Ethyl ester (EE) form and not in Triglyceride (TG) form.
Triglyceride (TG) form: More natural, closer to how fish oil exists in whole fish; generally considered better absorbed
Ethyl ester (EE) form: More common, cost-effective, but lower bioavailability compared to TG form.

Now does make more expensive Triglyceride (TG) form fish oil like the "NOW Foods Tri-3D Omega"

Misleading -- it's actually 300mg per capsule.

Not a good deal, only 600mg of actual Omega 3s in these. You need 2k to 3k to see a benefit.

Anyone looking for a better EPA/DHA concentration per dose, I'd recommend these:

Member's Mark 900 mg Omega-3 from Fish Oil Softgels, 150 ct.
• Cost: $19.98/150 (0.13¢ per serving)
• Total Omega-3s: 900 mg
-- EPA: 647 mg
-- DHA: 253 mg

Trying to take comparable levels by increasing dosage with this deals will probably mean lots of toilet time for you.

Another good one is Sports Research Triple Strength at Costco. 1g combined EPA/DHA per capsule.

From the American Heart Association(AHA): https://www.heart.org/en/news/202...atty-acids
A new analysis, published in June in JAHA, found taking more than 2 grams per day of DHA and EPA combined in supplement form may lower triglycerides and non-HDL cholesterol, but not LDL cholesterol.
Non-HDL level is someone's total cholesterol minus their HDL, the "good" cholesterol that helps the body get rid of some of the harmful LDL.

And a 2022 analysis published in the Journal of the American Heart Association found consuming 3 grams each day of EPA and DHA, in food or supplement form, may be the ideal dose to help lower blood pressure.
Because U.S. adults typically don't get the recommended daily amount of omega-3 fatty acids, " any amount of supplement has the potential to help, even if it doesn't lower triglycerides,"

From the AHA any amount of supplements can be helpful, and 2 grams or more of omega-3 supplements (DHA+EPA combined) may lower triglycerides and non-HDL cholesterol. 3g or more may lower blood pressure.
