Does this salad spinner spin fast enough to dry? The most popular pump handle salad spinner on Amazon, probably the most popular spinner overall, is the OXO one which I've tried but it fails completely. There's a max spin speed on that one where pumping faster or harder does not make it spin any faster and the max speed is not enough to get food dry. I don't get how that one has so many positive reviews when it fails at the one job it was suppsed to do.

Anyone know if this is the same? Why is it so hard to find a good salad spinner?

The will not save you from explosive diarrhea lettuce in case you were wondering. Boil or bleech. Both things I don't want to do to lettuce.
