There are several Chinese companies that make TVs in this price range.

Vizio was bought by Wal Mart, and now they're basically rebadged ONN TVs. Personally, I would go with something else for the same price.

TCL, Insignia, Hisense, Toshiba, and even Chinese Samsung make TVs in this price range.

Me personally, I'm deciding between Insignia, Toshiba, and Hisense currently. I went to the store, and the Hisense one looked better than TCL IMO.

I peronally wouldn't buy TCL. My friend had a 40" die in about 18 months before.

Also, at work we bought three 65" vizios back when they were $1,000. Only 1 was left standing after 2 years.

These Vizios TVs are still a good value they are not like Walmarts onn brand lol and in this price range they get brighter than TCL/Hisense. Because Walmart bought Vizio you won't see anything good anymore even the Vizio mini led TV is pretty weak

I would get a cheap streaming device with this TV.

They're already starting to co-mingle them. Not like there's a point in having a factory do two completely different TVs when they're both in the same price range.

I think Walmart is trying to keep Vizio as their premium brand for video and audio (atmos soundbars). They are still launching mini led TVs you won't see from onn. It's like what Apple does with Beats.

There is an option to turn ACR off if you dig deep enough on most devices. However, if the device updates, you can guarantee that they'll re-enable it.
