The Genesis line are great grills, especially with the porcelain-enameled cast iron grates. If your grilling needs top out at burgers and hot dogs, these will be just fine. I mostly cook steaks and have a strong preference for hard sears, and would not buy one without a sear burner.
This is an insane price for a Slate, and even at full price they're worth every dollar over a Blackstone.
