I bought the ameythyst one last year and it is doing really well. It says these attract butterflys and hummingbirds. True! I saw humingbirds for the first time! Smilie Assumed they weren't in my area. Turns out, I needed the right plant!

Welll shipped! Plant is wrapped in a plastic bag. Cardboard box with cardboard inside to stabalize it. Open from the bottom. Arrives with almost no dirt displaced.

Any indication they are kept somewhat cool during shipment?

Not that I am aware, other than they arrived in good condition. Most of the plants I have purchased have been late fall where keeping cool was not a concern. I ordered this yesterday and will update when it arrives. I was hesistant buying plants because the sale price is almost 50% less than the normal price. So far, they are all still alive!

I have both Blue and Amethyst. Amethyst has great form and much nicer flowers, more consistent with the marketing photos.

If anyone is looking for buddelia, please check your clearance rack at Lowe's regularly. I'm in the north east and they have constantly been on the rack there for the past three months at least. Different varieties and colors. They are this size and larger. They can be this price or sometimes less. All very healthy. I was just there again today and there were more. I have enough already so didn't grab it but just FYI 😉
