This Costco SameDay coupon is a small discount on Instacart delivered Costco orders, and it can stack with other credits like executive rewards or scheduling discounts. The main appeal is convenience, especially when the order qualifies and the coupon actually applies. The catch is that Costco and Instacart pricing is marked up versus warehouse prices, so the $10 can disappear quickly once delivery fees and tip are added. There are also reports of targeting, redemption glitches, and delivery range or food safety concerns, so it works best when the math still makes sense.

Given that I need a Costco subscription and $35 order minimum, I don't expect to tip at all.
If I use the instacart app, now that's a different story.
Edit: Just found out that Amazon Fresh also charges a tip, so I guess this is common for instant deliveries. My bad.
Still would prefer if they just charged a delivery/service fee so I wouldn't need to think about what a fair tip amount would be.
