The LG C series is really good. There have already been many sales posted on last year's model though so availability on the LG OLED77C5 (5 at end means made in 2025) may be limited. LG OLED77C6 may go on sale though so keep your eyes out for that. LG B series is more budget friendly, but still a stunning beauty so B5 or B6 would also be a good catch. LG also has noticeably better build quality, which is especially reassuring if you plan to use the stand rather than mounting the TV.

Like the other commenter, I agree OLED's are the best technology on the market. Their stunningly gorgeous and have very few reliability issues (lifespan is shorter than other technologies but most people have many years before they see any problems). OLED's light up each of the 8.3 million pixels individually resulting in perfect contrast and color accuracy, making it easy to see all the details in everything (e.g. skin tone, background, etc.). Other technologies only beat OLED in terms of brightness, but OLED's are still plenty bright as long as you don't have an extremely bright room or sunshine directly hitting your TV. In a dark room or moderately lit room, however, you can expect a gorgeous picture!

It doesn't! I like how the replies jump straight to 77" OLEDS in answer to that question. Sure, all those OLEDS are in fact better TV's, but they are also not even in the same ball park of this price!

But anyways, for this model, this size, at this price, it's a good buy. Especially for those with an aversion to TCL and Hisense for higher end sets.

Ive been tempted to get this / the 85in over the 77in lg b5, but I'm hesitant and feel like i would miss out on the oled quality....also a tcl is a good option and popular but i feel like LG is a bit higher end brand overall

Another person asked if this TV was any good so me and one other person wanted to help out by suggesting potential top quality options for that person. Admittedly, 77" OLED's are still a little extra on a big sale right now (e.g. S90F 77" was recently $1085), but people looking for advice might be okay with paying a little extra if they know which TVs are on the very top. While this TV is definitely decent, detailed professional reviews such as QNED92A (a retail variant that is the same as this one just branded differently in certain regions) score 7.6 out of 10 average on rtings (most thorough at detailing motion handling, contrast, color accuracy, and many other categories). Whathifi professional reviews are also one of the more informative sources for TV information and give this TV a 3 star out of 5. While this rating isn't bad, the LG C5 and Samsung S90F get 8.7 ratings on rtings and 5 out of 5 rating on whathifi because they are nearly perfect TVs. Since the term "good" is relative, some people, are open towards steering someone asking for advice in a direction that may lead them to buying a top picture top reliability TV. That being said, I personally felt this TV posted was an okay deal, so I still gave it the first thumbs up rating (it was at 0 at the time) and am happy the poster posted this (it is a mid-end TV), but at the same time, wanted to be helpful towards people looking for better options at similar prices (while those deals are hard to catch, the general trend in last 2 months has been increasing competition and a decreasing price trend).

I agree. LG makes very solid TVs, many of which are extremely reliable and user friendly. While TCL does good in these areas as well, I agree LG does better on average when I read customer reviews (mostly focusing on 1-star reviews/issues). Also, given that you're potentially looking for an 85" TV, the LG 85QNED91 is definitely a top contender for getting the best value. The 65" OLED market became competitive price-wise 2 years ago, the 77" OLED market has just begun listing competitive prices in the last 2 months (still hard to get at this point in time), and I am expecting the 83ish inch OLED market won't be competitive, price-wise, until maybe 2028. Definitely a strong downwards price trend since LG released the first super reliable OLEDs in 2016, but especially for people looking for 85ish inch TVs, LG 85QNED91 is definitely a great option. If you're okay with 77", I'd go with OLED, though catching those brief sales is tricky at this point and certain 2025 OLED models (e.g. LG C5) started going out of stock in many areas a few weeks ago.

Avoid LG right now, they are dumping inventory because of a huge privacy scandal. Essentially their T's and C's admit to blatant wiretapping via microphones. Their computer monitors install spyware via windows update.

Boycott LG.
