I don't get the NUKE thing but I love my subcompact brushless Ridgid drill and impact driver. They're powerful, light and batteries last a long time before recharging.

Don't mention you don't like the "Nuke" name -- that's a no-no around here.

The HD picture shows 2x2ah batteries + the free promo 4ah. Specs say 1x2ah.

I agree with the OP when he says HD just used the wrong picture on the drill kit.
Also, if you read the reviews (which all came out from the last week as part of their Seed Program). they're just talking about a drill.

Here's a link for the 2 tool drill + Impact driver kit.

This is actually cheaper if you return the 4ah battery. $77 ish off. So $62?

I concur. It's a bit off-putting. Duke Nukem and Class of Nuke' em High come to mind with this branding.

OP is linking to the proudct page of "w/ Additional (1) 4 Ah Battery(s)", however if you choose the "No Additional Attatchment" option, it goes to this link:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../340681985

Which then has the 4AH battery seperated as a BOGO, which then yes, it should seperately returnable.

But through the OP's link it isn't.

Nuka-Cola, too. I get that they want to imply that the tools are powerful. I don't get the skull in the logo and I don't get the name. It feels like an attempt to get uneducated young men to buy their stuff, while actively off-putting everyone else. Not smart.

Not true. There are still patriotic companies like DeWalt that manufacture their tools in Mexico, which is still technically North 'Murica.
