I was debating getting something similar to this to drive a pair of Earthquake MQB-1's, then realized to get the advertised power you have to drop another $60+ on a considerably higher output AC Adapter to provide anywhere near the advertised power.

For my use case, I ended up with a Behringer NX3000d due to not wanting to underpower, probably $200 more then this unit with the large power supply. If you need a LOT of power the Behringer is a nice option for subwoofers or transducers, my couch shakes very nicely now.
