Having said that, I can absolutely see people paying this much for a machine even though I personally wouldn't as I'm only a semi-coffee snob
For anyone running a busy household or even a small/medium office, this Jura super‑automatic is in a different league than typical Breville home machines. Jura designs these for heavy daily use with Swiss‑engineered internals, automatic cleaning cycles, and backwards‑compatible parts, and real‑world data puts average lifespan close to a decade with proper maintenance. At $2,999 after coupon you're still paying a premium, but you're getting one‑touch espresso/latte/cappuccino, less staff training, and way fewer "why isn't the machine working?" moments compared to a semi‑auto setup. Definitely not a casual kitchen toy, but for offices that would otherwise be burning through cheaper machines (or sending people out for coffee), this starts to make sense as a long‑term convenience play.
I'm not ordering one myself/perfectly happy with my refurbished ninja luxe/from a prior slickdeals for now.

Would you mind sharing your setup? Like what beans you use, what grind setting, dose, shot time, etc.? I've been using Lavazza Super Crema with the built-in grinder around 12-14 (seems to change depending on the bag), and my shots are decent but nowhere near "better than 95% of cafes."
I've watched so many YouTube videos that it's honestly overwhelming because everyone says something different. I'd much rather hear what actually works from someone who's dialed in the same brand of machine.

Maintenance is very easy. The screen tells you when maintenance is needed. The bottom drawer pulls out to dump the grounds and waste water. You run a cleaning tablet through it about once a month and run a cleaning cycle on the water tank every few weeks. If you make milk drinks, it comes with a self cleaning bin and hose, you just put the cleaning pellets in the bin, connect the hose and tell it to run the clean cycle. Very easy.
Prior to buying the z10 I went through two of the Phillips/Saeco Super automatic machines. The first one lasted 5 years, the second lasted about 4. Both Phillips/Saeco machines had an expensive part break in them where the parts cost almost as much as the machine. We drink a lot of coffee and this time I decided to get a better machine. The coffee quality was noticeably better on the Jura vs the Phillips/Saeco.
If you are unsure, buy this machine or any other Jura machine. Your mornings will be much better! ☕️

I guess it sounds complicated but in the end I have a shot that has great crema, not bitter, not sour. Muy excellent.
