For the price and it having 16GB of ram there's really nothing better at the price point.

I'm only holding out to get a 12th gen or newer for the significant increase in cores, even if some are E cores.

These devices ALWAYS had crap battery life because Intel was so far behind in processor efficiency the last decade. Replacing the battery won't change that. These devices might have 20% battery degradation, resulting in 80% capacity. No big deal - replacing the battery would be the difference between 2 hours and 2.5 hours of battery life. Not cost effective if the replacement would be 30% of the value of the device.

I would say the better move is to get a large USB C battery and lug it around with you.

Good deal. I had an EliteBook at work and they are solid, well made units. The seller is a major IT distributor so they are legit and these are off lease corp units likely.
