The spring loaded "spike" isn't a point, ask my thumb how it knows.

I have had one of these in the past. Thankfully, I have never had to use it.

$10.64 with tax for two 2 packs. Sure why not? Plus $1.50 digital credit for slow shipping getting it Friday instead of tomorrow. I can buy a few e-book series.

I carry one of these for duty use everyday for the past 18 years. Ive used it to cut seatbelts, clothing and a bra (i needed to apply aed pads, get your mind outta the gutter). If you use the window punch be aware, you have to push it inward to cock the spring loaded spike and it auto releases. Your hand will either go a little through the window or the window will shatter and fall down upon your hand. Use it at the top of the side windows, and only the side windows. The front window is made of laminated glass, and the back sometimes works but the heating element often keeps it together.
I highly recommend this, much more than the stupid 7 in one tool that you will never find in your glovebox in an emergency.
