About this Item:
  • This tub drain stopper is ideal for replacing worn-out, dull and non-functioning bathtub drain stopper and you can convert a standard trip-lever drain to an easy lift and turn drain closure.
  • The bathtub drain stopper features a lift-and-turn style allowing for easy use, simply lift the stopper and give it a ¼ in. turn to lock it in the open position and reverse to close the stopper to fill the tub with water.
  • This tub drain stopper is 5 Inches in depth and has two thread sizes: 5/16 in. on the bottom end and 3/8 in. underneath the stopper. The thread sizes can be reversed to accommodate the tub drain threaded size.
  • Replaces foot operated stoppers made by Rapid Fit 1200 series, Sterling, Carper's and Duracraft. This also replaces the stopper for Danco's lift and turn tub drain kit model # 88966.
  • This stopper can be installed without removing the drain.

We had this in our tub and it broke, ended up buying those floppy rubber discs that simple just lay over the drain and works great! Kids can easily use it too I'd skip this if yours broke cause it looks darn cheap and will either not fit right or break again.

The amazon pictures show you can flip the threaded part upside down to have 3/8" or 5/16". Still no guarantee it fits but that doubles your chances.

These used to be made of brass. Now it's colored plastic made to look like brass. Definitely don't trust this to last.

I bought one of these from the hardware store this spring and it had a brass stem.

I can't believe they switched to plastic stems. They're gonna break so easily.
