I don't like Hydro Flask [HF]; my HF 40 oz. bottle started rusting from the inside, within owning it for only two weeks or so. I had similar issues with my Hydro Cell 18 oz. bottle, which is strange because my Mira 40 oz. bottle that I purchased years ago, didn't rust since owning it and using it for several years. I suppose they're making bottles these days with inferior quality. Planned obsolescence? Idk...

Happened to me, too, after about a year. I would agree with you about how quality has dropped but would stop at saying it was planned obsolescence" since their bottles do have a lifetime warranty. I got mines replaced without too much hassle, but it did require pictures to get approval and a video of me writing on the bottle so that I didn't have to mail the bottle in before replacement.
