There are 2 versions of Kirkland v3.0 balls. All the balls being sold at Costco now are the "new" version (sometimes referred online as v3.5 ball). If you are buying from a 3rd party site, make sure you are buying the new ball.
If you look at the attached pics, the ball with the hollow arrow is the new version. The ball with the double arrow is the old version. Unfortunately, they are both marketed as Kirkland v3.0. Here's a link to help you out:
According to reviews out there, the new ball spins a lot less. Personally, my drives "balloon" a lot less. The new ball may help hookers and slicers with less exaggerated hooks and slices (YMMV). If you see a review complaining about the spin, they are probably reviewing the old ball.
Love me some Ksig golf balls! $23.99 in-store sounds like a green light special to me. Wish they had yellows at the local stores, though. They have been sold out in my area for ages.

Went in store today in VA and they had plenty of the whites and yellows
