We ordered this during the last switch 2 woot deal and it arrived in horrible condition. The shipping box had been opened and retaped, the system was dirty, and the switch 2 box was dented heavily. Suffice it to say we returned it. Woot is pretty terrible with electronics.

I don't see how it's a fp deal when recently that pick a game bundle was only like $27 more than this. it would have to be down at the $399 for everyone to be a decent deal and even then that is too much for a switch 2. I have a bunch of best buy gcs so I have to hope maybe black friday the console with mario kart will be $399.

I agree that $399 would be a great BF deal, however, I personally don't think it's likely considering the times we are currently living in (RAMpocalypse), where almost 6 years into a console generation, we have seen competitors increase their prices by 30% (Sony) and 60% (Microsoft). Speaking of which, Nintendo has already announced an MSRP increase to $499.99 effective September 1, 2026. All things considered, this deal is decent, especially if you're a new customer and can get the $50 discount, effectively bringing it $399.

Edit: I guess you mean the code GIFT26 takes $50 off if you're a new customer? Trying it and it still comes out to $433 for me after tax. Bleh.

I think it's starting the 24th if you have a Sams Club membership you can get 20% off eshop cards which means you can buy those then use them to get a Switch for $400 total from the eshop. So if you already have that membership, that's going to be a better deal. Plus we'll have Splatoon Raiders reviews out by then.

Don't even bother with the latest release of the RE Series; it doesn't run well on Switch 2, barely at 30 FPS and constantly slows down during multiple zombie fight scenes. At least for me, when I had RE: Requiem.
