We ordered this during the last switch 2 woot deal and it arrived in horrible condition. The shipping box had been opened and retaped, the system was dirty, and the switch 2 box was dented heavily. Suffice it to say we returned it. Woot is pretty terrible with electronics.

I don't see how it's a fp deal when recently that pick a game bundle was only like $27 more than this. it would have to be down at the $399 for everyone to be a decent deal and even then that is too much for a switch 2. I have a bunch of best buy gcs so I have to hope maybe black friday the console with mario kart will be $399.

I agree that $399 would be a great BF deal, however, I personally don't think it's likely considering the times we are currently living in (RAMpocalypse), where almost 6 years into a console generation, we have seen competitors increase their prices by 30% (Sony) and 60% (Microsoft). Speaking of which, Nintendo has already announced an MSRP increase to $499.99 effective September 1, 2026. All things considered, this deal is decent, especially if you're a new customer and can get the $50 discount, effectively bringing it $399.

Community Reviews

This is a new Switch 2 listing, and the main appeal is getting the console below the usual price, especially if the new customer code drops it to about $399 after tax. The thread also notes that Switch 2 games can be digital, game key cards, or traditional physical cards, so resale is still possible on some titles. The biggest cautions are shipping and condition concerns, with reports of smashed boxes, opened or retaped packaging, and units that looked returned or dirty. New Hampshire shipping is blocked, so the deal is less straightforward for some buyers.

  • New customers who want a console deal, because the discount can bring the total to about $399 after tax.

  • Players who want a current-generation handheld for physical or digital games, because the system supports both cartridge-based and download-based titles.

    ShushiiTslthytove

  • Shoppers comfortable buying from this seller, because some electronics have arrived unopened and in perfect condition.

    smill37JonathanT1813

  • Collectors who want a pristine box on arrival, because units have arrived smashed, dented, dirty, or looking like returns.

    xvxEricJ3237gte636ibokeh

  • Shoppers in New Hampshire, because this item cannot be shipped there.

    9594

  • Players expecting every new release to run smoothly, because some Switch 2 games can drop to around 30 FPS and slow down in demanding scenes.

The US refunded Nintendo for all the tariffs they paid for switch 2 imports. Is this the adjusted price or is this still the overpriced one on "sale"?

Last two things I ordered looked like shit. It was claimed as new but definitely wasn't. I will never use woot again. It's a dumping ground for open box and returns

I assume they'd have to let you return and exchange if so. Hopefully my nest thermostat doesn't show up like that.

I once bought a bumble microphone from woot. The microphone was obviously used and returned, had a paper towel in it used as cushion for packing. No instructions lol, they gave me a refund and told me to keep it but it ended up not working anyway

Maybe that's a Console thing? I've bought my last 6 Controllers from them, and they've all been in perfect condition. O.o

i wouldn't say "woot is pretty terrible with electronics" your 1 bad experience is bad, but i have bought many electronics from them over the years and never had an issue, including the Lenovo Legion Go S a couple months ago which arrived in unopened perfect condition. Also they mostly use amazon for fulfillment, so it very well could've been an amazon issue.

just means people are overpaying. they should really be around $299. It's by far nintendo's highest console price ever and they still stay behind the competitors in level of components in the consoles.
