I have 2, works great with Unraid with each drive showing individually and being controlled individually. I paid $300.00 back on January 8, 2025 per Amazon for the first one, and 1 month later for the 2nd one as I liked them so much. Highly recommend

I have this one and the 9-bay DAS from terramaster. These things have been on for years at a time, and they are only as noisy and warm as the grade of HDDs you put in there (gold/red/whatever). Never really had an issue but just make sure you have UPS backups on them so they can gracefully shut down in a power outage, as I have had issues with drives changing letter drives sometimes.

An amazon review said they had to do a firmware update to get SMART working. Sounds like a stellar device. I'm very tempted.
